My husband came home the other day with a crazy idea. It was just like the crazy idea that he had over 8 months ago to buy an RV and live in it. When he first mentioned the RV idea, my first reaction was "Yea right!" But as I began to research the idea more and read about other families who did this, I became obsessed with the idea. I'm still obsessed with the idea and we are praying about God's will on the matter. Sooo, until we get an answer on the RV lifestyle, let's get back to my husband's other crazy idea. Yes, It's crazier than living in an RV. Before I go into it with words, let me give you a picture of what could quite possibly be our next endeavor:

Yes, that's a picture of a tent.... outside. I'm not talking about camping here, but living in a tent. This was my husband's crazy idea. My first reaction again was "Yea right, you're crazy!" But then again, I began doing research as there's just something down inside me that just loves the idea of living completely against the grain. The first image that popped into my head when he mentioned living in a tent was a regular ole' pop up tent. But then I saw pictures like the one above and thought, "I could do this.." I guess it would be more what some call 'Glamping' (glamorous camping) but probably not AS nice. I'm weighing out the pros & cons of it all right now. Cons that are at the top of the list include: Bugs (I.can't.stand.bugs), shower/bathroom issue, having the girls in the same space as us without a more sound proof room to divide us.
Am I absolutely crazy to even be considering living in a tent? Of course it would take a lot of planning for this to happen. We wouldn't do it until after the winter and then would go for about 6 months.
Here are some more pictures I've been pinning for inspiration:
