Boy!!!

It's an exciting week as we found out we're having a baby boy!! We are thrilled yet it seems so surreal since we're used to girls:) A whole new adventure awaits!

I didn't have any fun announcement pictures planned so I just ran to walmart and grabbed some blue balloons to do something with. A spur of the moment 5 minute shoot only got us this picture... All the balloons kept flying away so this was the best I could do lol

Ellie was in the room with us when we found out & almost cried when we told her it was a boy. She wanted another little sister lol but she's excited now. I still don't think Macy has any clue yet as to what's going on. We had a name settled and were going to name him Weston Jacob but Beau started having 2nd thoughts and it looks like his name might be Micah Jacob now. We'll see if we can stick to it :P 
Oh & here's the proof!

Another exciting thing that happened just yesterday is that Macy threw away her binky! She was lying in our bed yesterday morning and Beau mentioned to her that she'll have to throw away her binky soon. The whole thing was all chewed up yet she still wanted it and would wake up at night screaming if she couldn't find it. She said no at first and I wasn't even planning on weaning her from it until I was finished with school but once Beau told her about when Ellie threw her binky away, she ran to the kitchen and threw it in the garbage! Hearing about her big sis motivated her to throw it away and she's been going to bed just fine without it and I'm so proud! I expected a tough time weaning her from it so I'm so glad she decided to give it up. Even though I don't think she quite understands about the baby yet, she's showing more & more signs of growing up and of independence. She's saying soooo many new words now, wants to get dressed by herself and get things for herself and now throwing away the binky. We'll be going back to trying to potty train her again once I'm out of school so I hope that will come more easily this time around since she seems to be doing so well in the other areas!

I'm super excited to surprise the girls on Thursday when our moms come in!! They're going to be so stinkin' excited!! :D
