Fridgless!

As of today, We will officially be fridgless! Monday, we bought a cooler and began using it for things like milk & yogurt. As we begin a whole new way of eating, I'm not sure we'll even need the cooler. Two nights in a row, we've eaten pretty healthy dinners. Tuesday night we had spaghetti squash and a mix of veggies and last night was stir fry chicken & veggies with rice. I think I can used to eating this way... I hope:)

Beau & I laugh almost every time we open the cooler to pull something out because I'm sure if people came to our house, they would think we were nuts. It feels normal to us already though!

Sorry, bad phone pic but there's our cooler.. taking up 90% of our counter space heh

Now our next step is to stop using our dishwasher. Wish us luck ;)

  1. So what has inspired you to go fridgless? I mean we don't have a tv or a dishwasher (although I wouldn't be opposed to having one if there was space), but fridgless? ...I'm curious. :)

    1. Hi Traci! Yep we're going fridgless because we most likely wouldn't have electricity in the tent and want to get used to that way of living as soon and as much as we can :)
MY husband actually came up with the idea. We already wanted to live in an RV and travel but couldn't afford that lifestyle at this time so he thought of a more primitive, cheaper idea. I was all against it at first but became more intrigued once I started researching it and I think I'm even more excited about living in a tent then he is now lol. We would start around June of next year. Here's a post that answers more Q's also: http://matzatnomadic.blogspot.com/2012/08/why-tenting.html
